Lammerklamm can be reached in less than 45 minutes from the city of Salzburg. The entrance to this deep gorge is in the village of Scheffau. The Lammer – a tributary of the River Salzach – has eroded the limestone formations for millennia, carving out a unique natural landscape. The Klamm (Austrian dialect for gorge) has been made accessible to the public via a well-maintained network of walkways and bridges.
