Salzburg Festival

The Salzburg Festival takes place from 19 July to 31 August 2024.

The Salzburg Festival is a major classical music and performing arts festival. The varied cultural programme encompasses some 200 events from the genres of opera, drama and concerts. Venues include the Felsenreitschule (Summer Riding School), the Salzburg State Theatre and of course the Domplatz (Cathedral Square). The latter sets the stage for the annual performances of the play ‘Jedermann’ (Everyman) by Hugo von Hofmannsthal.
